To sum up the activity during the first three-year period, Chairman of the Board Michael Berlin stated: “The late 2004 and early 2005 were difficult for us, but we withstood and held our ground at the market. The 2005 totals are as following: activity index - 69th place among 116 Ukrainian insurance companies and payment index – 74th place (according to the All-Ukrainian Insurance Top 2005 Rating).

During three years of activity the CJSC Ukrainian Insurance House has significantly improved its financial indices. The total of collected payments has increased several times. Only for the first half-year period of 2006 the amount of collected insurance payments was 2.5 times more than the amount collected for the similar period of the previous year. The total amount paid by the CJSC Ukrainian Insurance house has been increased too. Only for the 6 months of this year, the company has paid 725 thousand UAH of insurance compensation, which is a twofold amount paid for the whole year of 2005.

Within three-year period the branching office network of the Ukrainian Insurance House was established. At the current moment the company has structural subdivisions (offices) in nine oblast centers of Ukraine (Vinnitsa, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lugansk, Odessa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Kyiv), plus representative office in Krasny Looch. It is planned to ensure the company’s presence in all regions of the country.

Michael Berlin set forth the strategic tasks of the company in the following way: “Our goal is to gain the convincing position at the Ukrainian insurance market” .

Information.CJSC Ukrainian Insurance House was founded on September 25, 2003. It undertakes 11 types of voluntary insurance. The statutory capital makes 8 million UAH. The company has nine branch-offices in nine oblast centers of Ukraine.
