The insurance contract provides for coverage of unlawful third party activities and Acts of God. The new Holocaust memorial in the village of Solotvino was insured for the value of 50 thousand UAH. The memorial to the nearly 2 thousand Solotvino Jews killed by Nazi in World War II was erected thanks to the initiative by Mr. Taik, academician, full member of the Ukrainian Oil and GasAcademy, currently a resident of Russia.

At the ceremony dedicated to opening of the memorial regional and oblast officials, local community representatives, as well as delegations from Kyiv and Israel were present. More than 1000 people came to pay the tribute to the memory of the victims of the Nazi occupation.

Information: CJSC Ukrainian Insurance House (ZAO "Ukrayinskyi Strakhovyi Dim") was founded in September 2003. As of July 1, 2005, amount of insurance payments was 6,908.6 thousand UAH; insurance reserve – 2,268.2 thousand UAH; insurance payouts – 260.1 thousand UAH.
