“Vacation” program – is a comprehensive program that covers property insurance and insurance of third party liability during a vacation period of the insured person, a traveling tour, or a business trip.
Purpose of the program is to cover loss of or physical damage of the insured property (apartment), and to claim damages inflicted to property, life and health of third parties (e.g. neighbors, during the insured person’s absence).
According to the program terms, the following objects can be insured:
- construction elements of apartments and rooms (bearing walls, partitions, floors, windows, doors), engineering services (electrical communication systems, natural gas systems and water supply systems, sewage and heating systems);
- design and interior (including coating of ceilings, walls and floors);
- additional technical equipment (standard plumbing and kitchen equipment, water purification systems, air purification and heating systems, water heating devices, floor heating systems, personal satellite TV systems, personal security alarm systems (video- and audio-based, etc.), personal fire extinguishing/alarm systems, window (sound-)insulating kits, built-in furniture (sliding door wardrobes, etc.), air conditioning, etc.);
- liability related to damages inflicted to third party’s (neighbors’) property, life and health.
Insured accidents are:
1) physical damage or destruction of insured property because of fire (including physical damage by products of combustion and fire extinguishers), thunderbolt, gas-holder and gas pipe explosions, Acts of God (hurricanes, showers, hail, landslides, earthquakes, floods, subsidence, landslips, ground water floods, etc.), physical damage by water as a result of failures of water supply, sewage, heating systems, and fire extinguishing systems, as well as due to leakage from neighboring apartments and unlawful destruction or physical damage to the property inflicted by third parties;
2) cases of liability of the insured person relating to damages inflicted to third parties as a result of unexpected events which occurred during absence of the insured person.
Insurance contract term is set to the length of the period of the insured person’s absence.
In order to sign the insurance contract, apartment inspection is not necessary, neither is it necessary, prior to signing the contract, to provide documents to the insurance company representative relating to purchase of the property being insured.
